What if everyday objects were not static? The transformative properties of the wind were applied to a floating shelf, giving it the appearance of blowing away, defying its conventional limitations.

A floating shelf composed of segmented strips that are individually formed using steam bending to create a whimsical and sculptural statement piece.

The design was prototyped by hand out of solid maple, with custom, extra slim steel brackets fabricated for wall mounting.
